Oregon's southernmost Port is located on the Pacific Ocean a few miles north of the Oregon-California border;  an area known for its mild climate and natural beauty.  Located at the mouth of the Chetco River, it has one of the safest entries to the ocean on the west coast.  It's a sportsman's paradise and a photographer's dream.  Year round ocean fishing for snapper, salmon, and albacore tuna as well as three world class rivers within minutes provide outstanding angling and recreational boating.  The Port is a working Port with a fleet of commercial vessels that fish for Dungeness crab, tuna, snapper and shrimp.  These catches are offloaded daily on our commercial dock systems and are an important element of our overall economy.
